Holy Holidaze cont.

Otto is now out for winter break from school! He is doing great, I am so proud of him! It has been fun having him around more, did not even realize how busy we were! We have done a lot since he has been on break. We had our first taste of winter weather a few weeks ago. We got iced in for a day, that was a lot of fun. I am kicking myself for not taking pictures! It was really pretty with ice everywhere. Made for a lot of laughs and we tried to ice skate across the property. We decided to take the mule (refer to picture on right that is the mule) out to go look around... we always enjoy that. As you see from the picture from last year. I just wanted to show this picture so you did not think we were riding a real mule around! Then we came in for some Hot Coco that was super yummy! It was a really fun day! So we have been doing that and getting our Christmas things done! I decided to make our Christmas cards this year, which to be honest I had a lot of fun after I stopped trying to make each one look different. It was a little more then just send a ready made card but it was fun to have a personal touch to them. I have also been working on Otto's Christmas present during all this time and trying to keep it a secret form him. I made him a TV pillow, pictures will follow soon. But I had a Sister in the ward help me so it and make it! I am more proud that I was able to keep it a secret from Otto, than I am the pillow but he really enjoys it. He was kinda sad when we were dating he asked if i could sew and i told him a button, so he is happy that i have made something!

Christmas

Wow ! I can not believe that Christmas is over it was a very fun day and great time to think of our Savior. The Christmas festies began with our enrichment night for RS it was very nice and I really enjoyed it. The RS had a program they did about the women from Christ birth. Of course there was Mary. But they had the story of the Sheppard's wife and the inn keepers wife etc. and it was very thought out, really helped me get into the reason for the season. Then we had my work party. It was so much fun we went on the Arkansas Queen which is a river boat and goes up and down the Arkansas river. It was a nice cold night. It was really beautiful and Otto and I had a fun time people watching as we always do. The next day Otto and I went to the children's theater to watch a play. Which that is what Otto got me for my Bday! I was so excited. It was a very cute play! After that the next week we had our ward Christmas party. Then the next few days were getting ready for everything else! Saturday was Christmas @ G'ma Elli's house where there was lots of food and fun. Then we had church the next day I had my sharing time for Primary, then off to G'pa Beaumonts for Christmas where there was more food and fun! Then we went to Ft. Smith to visit G'ma Patsy then we went over and had Christmas Eve with G'ma Davis. Which I always love having Christmas Eve there. It fun to be around all of the family and catch up on everyone. I love the drive home and looking at all the Christmas lights! Christmas morning was spent at my mom and dads! We had a wonderful Christmas breakfast which is one of my favorite Christmas Traditions! Thanks mom! Then we got into our stocking and opened presents and it was a perfect day! As always we got spoiled! We hung out and played games with my family then off to Otto's family we go for more stocking and presents! Then G'pa Beaumont dropped by to say hello and Merry Christmas! Then a little while later G'ma Elli & Lawrence stoped by to say Merry Christmas. Then not to long after that Otto & I left to go see our Christmas movie! We went and saw 4 Christmas which was so funny! Then we came home and crashed from all of the Christmas Chaos! We really did have a great time seeing all our family! Well not ALL our family! WE REALLY DID MISS OUR WEST COAST FAMILY!

Holy Holidaze

I have been slacking again at this blogging thing... I could blame it on the holiday craziness but I won't. I will blame it on the truth, I am a slacker! I don't ever remember what I have blogged about. We will give a fast run down of what we have been up to!

Thanksgiving
was great this year. Otto went hunting with his dad. (who loves spending time with Otto & hunting so it was an almost perfect day for him -- if they would have gotten something!) Then I was to meet Otto's family & follow them down to Otto's Moms side of the family. We got down there & visited & ate & visited & ate some more. They have a fun tradition well most of the family lives here in Arkansas so naturally they are HUGE Razorback fans! Well Otto has a cousin that grew up in Louisiana. So she is a HUGE LSU fan. For those of you that do not know they are a huge football rivalry! So Cousin Steve & Cousin Jill write a peom to the loser. It is super silly & fun. Last year C. Jill got to write the poem. She has for the last 4 years or more! But this year C. Steve got to write the poem & he will next year too! It is something that we look forward to wach year. After that is was time to head to my parents, where my G'ma & G'pa were there to share Turkey Day with us, which is so much fun to have Grandma and Grandpa come visit! Needless to say Otto & I rolled home! It was a great Thanksgiving, made me realize how blessed I truly am!
Black Friday
I have never been a huge fan of shopping so waking up @ the butt crack of dawn to shop really has never crossed my mind. But for some reason the past 2 years I have wanted to do it. I love to people watch & after the entertainment I got from going to the Twilight book party I thought this could be just as fun! I remember last year going home from my parents house & seeing the people camping out in front of the stores & thinking that is crazy stuff! We tried last year but Black Friday was my B-day & when Otto tried to wake me up well that is the key he tried I thought sleep was a much better present! But this year I was ready! We planned on getting up @ 4am but we did not wake up till 4:30am but I was the one that woke up Otto! So off we go. We were just going for the experience if we found something SWEET if not o'well. So we did have a plan, kinda & we did have a few thing we were looking for. Kohl's opened @ 4 am so we went there 1st. I was every impressed how many people were there but it did not feel any more crazy then just a busy shopping day. So we found a few thing that we were looking for & we went to check out & the lines were wrapped around the store. (so back to the I am not a fan of shopping--- lines are really not my thing!) So Otto & I had a planning meeting in the middle of the store. Target opened @ 6am its 5:30 @ the time of this planning meeting. But we really wanted what we had found but it was not marathon line worthy. I also wanted to experience the craziness of a store opening. Which my chance to see this was Target. So we went to a section of the store which not much was on sale so no one was in that area & we stashed our loot we found! (things we do for our angel tree kids) then headed to Target. As we approach Target it was amazing the line was wrapped around the parking lot I had never seen anything like it! It was AWESOME! Just the experience I wanted! I did have to giggle there is a home depot right next store and it even had people lined up for the opening only like 15 & they were all guys imagine that! So we are walking up to find or place it the Target line & I start thinking, OK we have seen a lot of people this morning, but no one that we knew, so I said to Otto, "we must be the stupid ones out of all our friends we have seen no one we know..." I was not even able to complete that sentence when we here "Hey its the Beaumont's!" There they were almost half of our ward standing in line. OK it was not half but there was like 8 of them! So we jumped in line with them, they asked us what our game plan was, we didn't have one! Needless to say we were in line with Black Friday Pros, they had already been to wal-mart & almost a fight later they were in the front of the target line. It was funny to hear them talk about all they got & what they had to do to get them they had been up all night! It was amazing to see they all had assignments of what to get & how many! One of the ladies in line w/us as soon as they opened the store sprinted to the doors made it all the way to the back of the store, grapped her goods & was looking for more, by the time Otto & I got into the store! We had a fun time. We did not see any "major fights" but wow we got the see the natural man, in a lot of people. It was a fun experience. Not sure if we will ever do it again but I do have to say I did have a fun time! So we got a few things a Target & I got my Hot Chocolate. Then we headed back to Kohls by this time it was 7 am. We walked in found our stash & in our line of 8 people we stood.

Black Friday Finds:
The Office season 3 DVD for $10.00
P.S. I love you DVD for $ 3.50
Cute sleeping bag backpack combo for angel tree $8.00
Leapseter for angel tree $25.00
Mom & Dads Christmas Present $ good price

Feeling a little Martha Stewart-ish

So last month we had a GIRLS NIGHT @ the Toblers home. WE had a blast! Some of the girls in my ward got together to make this way cute
Advent Calendar!

I just ♥love♥ it!

It was way fun to make. It was a great night
just hang out w/ the girls & goofing off...
& this is the aftermath of goofing off. It does pay to play!
So not only did I get all crafty but for Thanksgiving I made a Pecan Pie. (Ottos FAVORITE) Which I made him one for his Birthday a few years ago and he talked it up so much that I have been afraid to make one since! But thanks to Sis. Walker she helped me through it again and needless to say the pie is gone & I have a Happy hubby!

•this is not the one i made ... i forgot to take a picture :( but look as close to mine as i could fine.•

Wow! What has gotten onto me?!?!?! Not only all that craftiness. I have decided to make all my Christmas Cards this year. (Not sure what I was thinking about that one... as my mom laughs and says I told you so!)

OK OK OK ... so sorry its been so long but it has been pretty busy around here. So the following is some highlights of the past month or so. We were able to have out bonfire and it was as fun as always. We had a few friends over and Otto got to "get paid to play" as you will see in the following pictures...

Here is Otto and his pile he gets to burn...

what happens when you play with diesel fuel?

and a blow torch ?!?!?!?!?!?!

You get a nice BIG Fire!
We had a blast!

We built a smaller fire to cook out hot dogs on. The kids a a blast riding around in the mule!
(OK confession: Kristin had just as much fun taking them for rides.)

Maddy doing the "fire dance" for us...

Then we have some left over sparklers from our wedding that we got out and let the kids play with. Oh they had so much fun with those. Maddy made sure to do the "fire dance " for us to make sure we had a fun time! Well it wroked! I had such a fun time this year that I can not wait for the next one!

♥ i love fall ♥

Otto & I went on a Sunday drive just to look at the colors. It was such a pretty drive. Theses pictures do not do the colors justice... but makes me love living here and enjoying seeing the changes of fall. Something I missed when I lived out west!
It really was such a perfect day, I love the time that Otto and I get to have together it been pretty crazy at time since he has been in school and we know it is just
going to get crazier for the next couple of years so we are just
taking the moments when we have them!

So we have had a really fun fall so far... Halloween was fun we went over to our friends house and had fun watching all the kids get so excited about halloween. I have had a chance to get some decorating done around the house, without Otto having a heart attack. (Just wait till Christmas on that one wink. wink.)

This weekend we are having a Bonfire that I am super excited for. We always have a fun time with that, so we are going to have some friends over and just hangout and enjoy the weather. So yes I really enjoy fall & the fact I can wear my sweatshirt again.

Ok Ok Ok I have waited long enough I have been told to tell you the truth about the picture.

This is a WOMAN!
and well as long as she is sporting the chickmullet she should support
the new fad in town the PIG LICKER -- and you thought I was making this stuff up!

So CONGRATS to all those who guessed right, and for those who missed it who can really blame you? It was a tough one!

Oh so much more... So Otto got some FREE tickets to the Fair. So we thought we would go to see what it is all about... well we did! ( I have not been since I was a kid--- which mom and dad i give you props for that) To say the least we got enough to last us a long time! Neither one of us was super excited about going to the fair but hey it was free right? What is better than free? So we decided we could go Mullett watching, because that is always entertaining. I thought it would be cool to taked pictures of all the mullets and crazy things we saw. As we all know, sometimes I don't think things all the way through. Example: taking pictures of people with mullets at night! Yeah the flash kinda gives us away. Even though we were stoked about our "project" we were not willing to die or be injured in anyway for this "project" So I have one lonely picture before I tried to take a picture of the HUGE guy with the Meximullet and well he stared right at me, that was enough for me! So the rest of the night we walked around in awe, of people and how there are a lot of people that don't think things through, or they don't have friends to tell them that hey no body should ever walk out of the house like that!
It was a really fun night. We laughed a lot togther and its just another First to add to our list of things we did in our first year of marriage!

I would like to take a poll:

MAN OR WOMAN?

Kristin: What!? I dont know. -then just laughter-

Yep that is my husband, stating the obvious. Man, I am one lucky girl!

RaCe FoR tHe CuRe!

Here I am the morning of Race For The Cure! I have my Panera Pink Ribbon Bagel (it was yummy) I had to carb load! This was a really neat weekend for me. I signed up for the race and Otto signed up for 3 miles of men! I was suppost to walk it with some ladies from church but we never found them. Otto being the wonderful husband he is, walked it with me! WE had a blast!
It was fun to see so many people dressed up and so into this race!

As you can see we were in the middle of the massive crowd of pink! This was the view infront of us... they were already to the other side of the bridge at this point.

This was everyone behind us, they were all the way past the two tall buildings on the left. They said they had a record of 50,000 women sign up and over 3,000 men signed up for 3 miles of men! This was so much fun, it was very humbling to see all the people in pink hats which meant that they were a survior. It was touching to see all those who were walking in behalf of someone that had passed away from cancer. As Otto and I were well into mile 2 heading toward our 3rd mile. Otto sees the name Vivian Henrick on a ladies back, which Vivian Henrick is Ottos Great Grandmother who past away this year. So we met and talked with her and Otto had the chance of hearing how many lifes is Great Grandmother touched. So that was a neat moment for us.

I can not wait for next year when I will run it!

To da sticks & back

Our first camping trip & our very own tent! We got this tent as a wedding gift & we just love it! Its perfect for the two of us! We had such a fun weekend with Otto's family. It was perfect weather! Just cold enough in the morning to put on a sweatshirt & have some breakfast. We went up to Blanchard Springs. We saw the caves, made s'mores for breakfast, went star gazing, & just had a fun relaxing time, what more could you ask for!

Here is just a taste of what we got to see! The caverns are 28 stories below the surface! It was a beautiful, I remember it from going there when I was a kid, but I was still in awe of the beauty & just how it has taken thousand of years to form & how it is ever changing. There are times where I wished we lived somewhere else, but this weekend really made me see how pretty & how unique our state is. This is the stream was right by where we set up our tent, it was really pretty. Otto teases me because we want to go kayaking but where we live the water is just muck & I can't see the bottom of it & I just do not like the thought of tipping & falling in. But if the water looks as crystal clear like this, I would have no problem!

Here is Otto and I next to one of the Waterfalls... again I might have over used so pretty in this blog. It truly was. I love waterfalls, I do love the outdoors, I just do not get along with the bugs, & well the bugs left me alone on this trip and it was perfect! We all had a great time. So this was my 1st Beaumont Family camping trip & I can't wait for next year!

Anything but LAUNDRY...

I am sitting here waiting on Otto to come home from school... Totally should be doing laundry but my A.D.D. is getting the best of me...

So I thought that maybe I would play with my camera. This shot was for my mom... in seeing our bed she had question on whether or not I could match things.... she did not think that my pillows went with the bedding. But they do it was a bought as a set. I was thinking that maybe if mom did not think they matched maybe some of you thought the same thing so if any of you had any doubts....? :)

Then I thought since I had my camera out, I should play a little bit more. So here we have my rings in sepia tone

Just me with out any makeup as you can tell just being a dork and waiting on Otto to make his way back home...

Gotta LOVE LOVE LOVE some Izze! I am not a soda fan,
but I really enjoy my sparkling juices!

OH SO YUMMY!

So this was my exciting night of avoiding laundry!

♫ We are FAMILY ♫

So this was the left overs of Sunday Dinner at my parents house... My mom did always tell me to use my creativity! I love Sunday Dinners they really are the best, a time to be home with the family and just be. Last Friday & Saturday Otto was down in Baton Rouge, LA helping with the Gustav & Ike mess! So Saturday mom & I hung out, we had such a fun time. We went all over the place. Mom found some super cute fall decorations! It was much needed mom and me time. We are really lucky that we are so close to both of our families.
I have been able to watch Kylie (Otto's sisters little girl) a little more than normal, and I just L♥VE it. I love to see her grow and to watch her learn and discover things. It was the best thing ever, Otto was holding her and all the sudden she stuck her tongue out at him. Otto thought that was the coolest thing ever. She also loves to play peek a boo with her self. Which just cracks me up! I walked in the other day after her nap and there she was laying in the love sac (mom I told you it would come in handy) playing peek a boo all by herself and just giggling away! Kylie is 15 months old and is starting to talk and I have really been working with her to say OTTO... and every time I say "Where's Otto?" She always grabs her foot and shows me her toes. Funny Girl!
This weekend we are going camping with Otto's Family! It is going to be so much fun to get away! It is also Neil Bday and also Otto's Moms Bday this week so it will be a fun way to celebrate! They will get to see the side of me that really hates bugs... Oh DEAR! So I will have to post pictures of our adventures...

Better Late than Never... St.L take 2

I really do have a Great Husband! For years now I have tried to hold something over my dads' head. When I was 14ish my softball team made it to Worlds in Atlanta, Georgia! I was so excited to hear that not only were we going to Worlds but we as a team were going to watch the Atlanta Braves play! But my dad who is such a hard worker and who sacrificed so much for me to live my dreams, had to work until the very last minute which means I was not able to go the night before... we barely made it to the opening ceremonies! So I missed my first chance to watch my team the Atlanta Braves play. As I am now older and understand the sacrificed my parents made to let me play ball and I am totally over the fact that I missed the game but I still like to tease Dad about that. But Otto has heard this story I guess more than once and has been trying for 2 years now to get me to a Braves Game! WELL, HE DID! We went back up to St. Louis to visit the Holt's and to go watch the Braves play the Cardinals! It was AWESOME it was perfect except the fact the the Cardinals stomped the Braves 18 to 3! We had such a blast! We had greats seats, it was a perfect night! I mean it was August and it was ALMOST chilly who could ask for more!

We always have the best time when we go visit the Holt's! This time they took us to the City Museum! I must say words can not come close to how amazing this place is. I am going to put a few picture on here but just imagine everything you see is 10 times cooler in real life! This first picture is the WARNING you have going into this place, and its really not so much a joke! Yes it was FRAUGHT with danger! Wendy called as we were on our way and asked us if we brought our running shoes and long pants... cause we are going to the Museum. My thought was umm no its August and what kind of Museum would need that kind of thing.... well we did need that stuff! This place is the coolest ever. It was like A.D.D. heaven! Nobody could focus on anything there was just so much to do it was awesome! We did not even get to see everything. This museum was full of recycled material. Bradley was so fun to watch as we climbed through airplanes, caves, a 3 story slide, a ball pit for all ages! As you look at the picture below and to the left. LOOK REALLY CLOSE. That is rebar that they are climbing through. You can climb all through the museum from one level to the next, inside to outside. It is just amazing!

This picture to the right you can not tell but that is just one of 2 airplanes that you can climb through under or over. That is the museum building , it is an old shoe factory! These pictures honestly do not do this justice! It was such a fun time! You know it is fun when you have teenagers in groups, families, and just adults ! There is something for everyone here and it is the most unique thing I have ever seen! We just love the time we get to spend with the Holt's and all the cool things they find to do! So if you are ever in ST. Louis you must got to the CITY MUSEUM! It is something that you have to see for your self!

9.12.2008

WARNING! Things are bigger and better than they appear!

FINALLY!

I am back on here. Sorry it has been so long... thanks for your patients. (Erin)

Well here it is, our bed, we made with our own hands! WE LOVE IT! This really has been a fun project for us to work on, something we will have for the rest of our lives. Otto has been so patient with me during all this, besides how many times I have had more paint on me than the bed did. Or the time we finally got to bring it upstairs and set it up (which this thing is heavy not easy to move around) and the very next morning I dropped my phone between the wall and the bed, and we basically had to take the bed apart again just to get my phone. After all this he still loves me! This picture does make it look pretty small, but, it is not the case. This bed is huge, I basically have to get a running head start just to get in it! Just so you know the corners are as sharp as they appear just ask my shins. As we were setting up our bed and rearranging our bedroom furniture we realize that our room looks so empty now. We have tried a few things to fill up the space but nothing works just yet. So we are on the look out for something that will work, so we are up to any suggestions. We think we have figured out what we are going to do for baskets for our bed, but not sure just yet. I do know that we will not be getting the ones that are from Pottery Barn that go with our bed, because they cost more than our bed! This picture also shows off our painting skills... Which is a story all in its own... But here is our pride and joy and its summer bedding. I keep saying that we need just one more small pillow for our bed but Otto already thinks we have to many, so as a good wife I will let him think he has won. Little does he know I already have my eye on a few and I am just waiting for them to go on sale.

GO USA! GO USA GO!

So can I just say I Love Love Love the Olympics! We went over to my parents house for the "Opening Exercises" as Otto keeps calling them. It was fun to watch it with mom and dad, nothing like dads random comments. :) Otto and I have had a blast watching them together. I am so glad he has this past week off from school it has been a nice treat having him around at night again. But that will soon change as he starts classes back this next Thursday night. I have been sick but I have decided this was a great time to be sick because I "need" to lay around on the couch to get better. So at the same time of me trying getting better for the most part, I am doing my part as an American supporting my country... I am sure they have heard me all the way over there a couple of times... Like the 4x400 men's relay where we beat the French. Then last night when the US girls gymnastics were so close to beating China and we fell off the beam, and then on the floor?!?! OHH it still hurts... We have tried to watch everything from Handball which I never knew existed, to fencing ,which I just don't get.

I think I am really enjoying theses games so much because I was in Beijing in 2005, doing massage and working with the doctors that work with the Olympic athletes. I was over there for about a month and I was able to see so much and all the starting of the construction for the games. How excited Beijing was to have the Olympics there. As you walk around Beijing they had Olympic themes everywhere on the Cities walls. They have art statues with the Olympic colors just in a little inlet type place on a random street. I can only imagine what it is like now. So it is fun when NBC take little tours around the city, showing different places some times I know where it is, so that is fun. While I was there we were able to visit The Beijing Shi Cha Hai Sports School it was the school that Jet Li went to, it was his training school, and so has a lot of their Olympic athletes. This was very hard for me to see. As they have said during the Olympics that they are picked at a very young age. They leave there family as young as 4 years old to come to these schools to train. They might get to see there families once a year, if they are lucky. The school training is extensive, all day long, very little regular school is done. The basic of reading and some other subjects but they work on the sport anywhere from 8 to 12 hours a day.

This school trains for everything.. Ping pong, weight lifting, gymnastics , Tai Chi Quan, Some kinda of Martial Arts with a Sword, and so much more but we were allowed to see the kids ping pong which was a room of like 50 or more tables let me tell you I have a new respect for ping pong. They were insane, it was just very sad to me. Here is this room filled with 150 kids or more and there is no laughing going on the intensity in the eyes of the kids is something I have never seen before. A couple of the guys thought they were good enough to play with the kids but both was beaten by a 6 year old girl. We enjoyed watching that. We went in and saw watched them do the weight lifting for a minute and it was amazing. Got a tour of the medical area where they go to the PT and get worked on. I was in awe that my here is one of the best training facility in the world and my high school really had better stuff then they did. To see the kids laying on the bed who look so tried and just not how kids are supposed to look, no smiles. Then we went into where they were teaching the gymnast. This picture to the right of the little girl in the purple. Oh I was so close of putting her in my back pack and taking her home. We were in there for almost an hour watching and she apparently fell of the bar when she was doing her bar routine and she has to hang there for at least 40 minutes, she was crying no one was there to comfort her, nobody said anything to her just let her hang there and cry... they did nothing and it really broke my heart. She is not going to have a mom to go home to and say I had a hard day they were mean to me. She will just go to her room with 5 other girls and just wake up and do it all over again, and again.

So yes I do feel bad about the US team not getting gold but a part of me is happy that the Chinese got the gold. I have a new respect of what the Chinese actually have to go through even though mine was just a glimpse of there lives. I do feel for them. The pride they have for their country and the dedication they have is like no other I have ever seen.

But I do think the little girl in the black up top was the who beat us, I mean this was 3 years ago. She might be 10 now, umm I mean 16.

Things that make you go... ummm?

OK... It has been a busy week. But I just had to tell you about my TWILIGHT experience. So I went Friday night with some friends to the book release of Stephine Meyers new book in the series of TWILIGHT Breaking Dawn! Let me tell you it is the first time I have ever been to a book release and it wont be the last. I had a blast! I was super sleepy. But soon woke up when I arrived at my friends Kristin's house, I totally felt like I was back in High School. In one room all the husbands were playing Rock band which was very entertaining, I must say! Then the rest of the house was filled with girls, one room was making T-shirts for the night, that had Twilight slogans on it; • My ♥ belongs in Forks • Team Edward • Sexier than you since 1918 • All I want for Christmas is my two fang teeth!

Those are just the ones I remember. No, I did not make a shirt but it sure was fun to watch everyone else be so excited. So we had the man party, t-shirt station, food everywhere, and then we had our friend Sayra who is a hair dresser, fixing every ones hair like they were going to prom! Then all kinda of conversations about what they think the book is going to be about, just CHAOS! That was just at Kristin's house getting ready to go over to Barnes and Noble... I was just in awe I mean all I have heard about @ church is about this book but this is a level of love of a book that I have never experienced!

UNTIL.......

We Got to B&N and the level of love of this book well all I can say is things that make you ummmmm.

Now, Like I said in my last post, I have not even read through the first half of the FIRST book, so I do not know a lot. But what I saw when we arrived, I was speechless and just could do nothing but giggle at everything that was around me.

We walk in and it was like goth Heaven, its like the goth people were so excited to have a "place in the world" But from what I have read.... Edward was not Goth he looked just like everyone else. SO I was kinda confused But I think this one guy was even more confused than I was because he I guess thought that Edward was the Edward from Edward Scissorhands. He looked just like him.

This all was before we even got into the store... We walk OK no we were shoved into the store from the crowd and the first thing I see is this little teenage girl with her dad and she is crying, yes crying! She is begging her dad just to hold the book that he just purchased for her. You could tell by the dads face he was not understand what the fuss was over and was not sure how to handle the whole situation. Then you make it through the doors to see a sea of people all kinda of people. People that are in Prom dresses who umm should not be in prom dress like the lady who looked like she was 60, little girls all dolled up more goth and people like my group in t-shirts. I love to people watch and this was the perfect place to just step back and watch peoples reaction as they got this book. Or in anticipation of getting the book. It was a very long but fun night for me. So I do have to say I am not big into book but I think I am into Book releases, now I only wish there were more Harry Potter books to come out....

One Day @ a time....

Wow! Otto is almost done with his summer session of school. So far he is doing really well. He has a big project due on Monday. So this weekend we will be working on that. Hopefully we will get the last coat of paint on our bed. We are still in the process of repainting our bedroom. That was a fun time let me tell you! I wanted to change the color from yellow to a tan/ brown color. Lets just say over 10 test patches of the wrong color, I finally gave up and now we are having to repaint the whole room back to yellow, but i like this yellow better than the original one. We have just way too many projects going on at once. Its hard with Otto's busy schedule of working and school. This next semester will be not so fun for me. Otto will work until 3 be at school from 4 till 10! But "It shall come to past"!

I am in the process of working on my infant massage classes again. I am way excited. We finally came up with a name for my little company... Soothig Embrace. I wanted something a little more playful and catchy but, soothing embrace says everything about infant massage. As of right now I am working on a blog for it right now. I will let you know when that is up and going.

Tonight I am going with a group of girls that are HUGE Twlight Fans, to the Release Party of the new book. I have only read part of the first book, when Otto and I just go hang out at Barns and Noble. So it will be fun, to go and just hang out. Looks like I will learn more about Twlight tonight or morning I am not sure which it will be since the Release party starts at MIDNIGHT! So we will see how it all goes down....
