i {heart} u

We had a really awesome weekend. It started Thursday night with a GNO which we went and watched -He's not that into you- OK funny funny movie. It was fun to hang out with the girls, Otto was glad that i had them to go with so i did not drag him to go see it!

Friday night was a ward activity night. It was a 50's theme. It was fun to get ready for and to see how far Otto lets me fuss over him. By the way.... not very much. So we went and had a fun time visiting and hanging out.
So then Saturday morning, I decided to get creative and make Otto some fun Valentine pancakes... as you see the first time was a bust.I burnt them! Which I kinda ruined me surprising him, but we got a really good laugh out of my goof!

these are the burnt ones that stuck to the cookie cutters!

attempt two yeah for pam cooking spray!

ta-da i even topped them with strawberry syrup!

Otto said they were pretty yummy! It was a fun morning for us just goofing off and hanging out. We went over to his parents for a little bit and had lunch which was fun! Went to the store for a few things we needed for dinner and Otto cooked up some steaks and grilled some veggies and it was so yummy! Sorry there is not a picture of dinner we were outside and well we were to hungry to come up to get it. So we ate dinner outside, Otto started a fire and we just chilled by the fire and star gazed and talked! It was perfect!!! After we were nice and cold we came in played a game of skip-bo,watched the movie -Fools Gold-, and then ate some Cheesecake!

I found these cute little spring form pans at Target and well I have never made Cheesecake before so i thought this would be the perfect time to try! Well if I say so myself it was pretty yummy! Otto was pretty impressed. So if I say so myself it was perfect! i love you Otto!

My girls would probably agree that those would rank right up there with Grandpa's mickey mouse pancakes...and that's a hard act to follow! Very cute!
