Drum roll...

This is a WOMAN!
and well as long as she is sporting the chickmullet she should support
the new fad in town the PIG LICKER -- and you thought I was making this stuff up!

So CONGRATS to all those who guessed right, and for those who missed it who can really blame you? It was a tough one!

Oh so much more... So Otto got some FREE tickets to the Fair. So we thought we would go to see what it is all about... well we did! ( I have not been since I was a kid--- which mom and dad i give you props for that) To say the least we got enough to last us a long time! Neither one of us was super excited about going to the fair but hey it was free right? What is better than free? So we decided we could go Mullett watching, because that is always entertaining. I thought it would be cool to taked pictures of all the mullets and crazy things we saw. As we all know, sometimes I don't think things all the way through. Example: taking pictures of people with mullets at night! Yeah the flash kinda gives us away. Even though we were stoked about our "project" we were not willing to die or be injured in anyway for this "project" So I have one lonely picture before I tried to take a picture of the HUGE guy with the Meximullet and well he stared right at me, that was enough for me! So the rest of the night we walked around in awe, of people and how there are a lot of people that don't think things through, or they don't have friends to tell them that hey no body should ever walk out of the house like that!
It was a really fun night. We laughed a lot togther and its just another First to add to our list of things we did in our first year of marriage!

I would like to take a poll:

MAN OR WOMAN?

The Obvious!?

Some people keep up with the funny things thier kids say I think Iwill start keeping track of the funny things my husbands says....

This is a classic:

Otto: What is that blind man looking over there for, he can't see!
Kristin: What!? I dont know. -then just laughter-

Yep that is my husband, stating the obvious. Man, I am one lucky girl!

RaCe FoR tHe CuRe!

Here I am the morning of Race For The Cure! I have my Panera Pink Ribbon Bagel (it was yummy) I had to carb load! This was a really neat weekend for me. I signed up for the race and Otto signed up for 3 miles of men! I was suppost to walk it with some ladies from church but we never found them. Otto being the wonderful husband he is, walked it with me! WE had a blast!
It was fun to see so many people dressed up and so into this race!

As you can see we were in the middle of the massive crowd of pink! This was the view infront of us... they were already to the other side of the bridge at this point.

This was everyone behind us, they were all the way past the two tall buildings on the left. They said they had a record of 50,000 women sign up and over 3,000 men signed up for 3 miles of men! This was so much fun, it was very humbling to see all the people in pink hats which meant that they were a survior. It was touching to see all those who were walking in behalf of someone that had passed away from cancer. As Otto and I were well into mile 2 heading toward our 3rd mile. Otto sees the name Vivian Henrick on a ladies back, which Vivian Henrick is Ottos Great Grandmother who past away this year. So we met and talked with her and Otto had the chance of hearing how many lifes is Great Grandmother touched. So that was a neat moment for us.

I can not wait for next year when I will run it!

To da sticks & back

Our first camping trip & our very own tent! We got this tent as a wedding gift & we just love it! Its perfect for the two of us! We had such a fun weekend with Otto's family. It was perfect weather! Just cold enough in the morning to put on a sweatshirt & have some breakfast. We went up to Blanchard Springs. We saw the caves, made s'mores for breakfast, went star gazing, & just had a fun relaxing time, what more could you ask for!

Here is just a taste of what we got to see! The caverns are 28 stories below the surface! It was a beautiful, I remember it from going there when I was a kid, but I was still in awe of the beauty & just how it has taken thousand of years to form & how it is ever changing. There are times where I wished we lived somewhere else, but this weekend really made me see how pretty & how unique our state is. This is the stream was right by where we set up our tent, it was really pretty. Otto teases me because we want to go kayaking but where we live the water is just muck & I can't see the bottom of it & I just do not like the thought of tipping & falling in. But if the water looks as crystal clear like this, I would have no problem!

Here is Otto and I next to one of the Waterfalls... again I might have over used so pretty in this blog. It truly was. I love waterfalls, I do love the outdoors, I just do not get along with the bugs, & well the bugs left me alone on this trip and it was perfect! We all had a great time. So this was my 1st Beaumont Family camping trip & I can't wait for next year!
